On the banks of the Paraná River lies the beautiful city of Esquina, which lives up to its name due to its location at the southern tip of the Province of Corrientes.
In the 1990s, the Liebig-Röhner family, pioneers in this coastal town, transformed the old 1880s house of the Fernández Soto family, located 45 km from Esquina, into an estancia that today receives hundreds of visitors from all over the world.
Klausito Liebig, the third generation of the Swiss-German family in charge of managing the land since 1920, along with his wife Gloria Rosado, his children Bastián and Lisa, and their team work every day with love and dedication, and are proud to make every guest who crosses the gate feel at home here in the Argentine countryside. The team pride themselves on making every guest part of the family, enabling them to have an authentic Argentinian estancia experience.
The gaucho culture and way of life is extremely strong throughout Corrientes. Estancia Buena Vista is a traditional working Estancia so this allows guests to witness expert knowledge and skills first hand.
At Estancia Buena Vista we have an incredible herd of horses made up of mainly the “Criollo, or Crioulo” breed - the native horse of the Pampas. From beginners who would rather explore the landscape at a leisurely pace or experience riders who crave fast paced adrenalin filled gallops, we are sure you will find your new favorite mount here with us!
